as a standard feature, does RockBox enable MSC file transfer?

I'm looking to buy a new mp3 player and currently have a list of "must-have" features for it... one of those is being able to use MSC drag-and-drop file transfers to conveniently store non-music files on my mp3 player.

Does RockBox enable MSC file transfer as a general rule?  Or is it only enabled on certain players?

Currently the only player meeting my personal specs is the Cowon D2+ but if RockBox enables MSC then I might have a few other options to consider.  I remember my Gigabeat was a useful disappointment before installing RockBox... I want to keep such options open on my new player.

All rockbox players have to have MSC mode to be able to actually install rockbox.

All *supported* players you mean.

We managed to find a way to do it on the Gigabeat S without MSC.

I think the S install copies a bootloader with UMS support and then rockbox is installed from there.
