brand new ipod with 30gb+ that will work with RB?

after searching all over the net the only ipods i can find that are available to buy brand new are ones that don't work with rockbox (classic, nano, touch etc etc).

any idea where I can get one that does?

I was just back at a univesity this past weekend and they had an apple store their, and they were still selling BRAND NEW iPod Video's 5G/5.5G in the 30GB, 60GB and 80GB size and they had like 20 in each size.

So you might get lucky checking out an Apple store otherwise you will probaly end up geting a used one, but you can get new cases from various retailers to make it look like it is new.

you may also want to consider getting a new case with a new battery, as the old one wont hold a charge like it was new (obviously), its a great investment and a 850Ma battery will extend the battery life considerably.

just before opening the case on your iPod, to replace the battery and/or hard drive i would recommend that you check out a few videos on youtube about how to open it. Its easier than you may think but well worth seeing someone else do it first so you dont do something accidently that might harm it.
