Rockbox on Classic Ipod

ok so ive searched an havent found a recent post about this topic and was wondering if anyone has had any success in putting rockbox on a classic ipod or if its likely it will happen?

If the situation had changed, someone would've posted about it. It's really not necessary for the same question to be repeated again and again. There's a thread in New Ports, and if anyone actually accomplished anything, they should post it there.
