rockbox in my now useless ipod nano 1st gen

so what is i downloaded rockbox today. I used for a few hours and it was cool. later on when i shut down my ipod(holding pause button) and tried opening it again, it didnt work. the hold button wasnt on, and i tried holdin the center menu buttons for reseting. nothing worked. i tried plaugging to computer to charge but the screen was blank. nothing works.can some1 help? maybe i shud just buy a new ipod.

What do you mean it isnt turning on(is it completely non resposive to any buttons, will an apple logo apear at all?

Is the battery dead, how long did you leave it in to charge?

What did you use to install rockbox?

Plug it in and let the battery charge for a day or so.
