iPod 30gb problem

After reading this topic : http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=20860.0 but i still have a probleme... I can not boot rockbox. I tried to install with rockbox utilities but he told me that ha had a problem with the extraction... And if i try the manual method the terminal tells me the same thing:

Archive:  rockbox-ipodvideo-3.2.zip
  End-of-central-directory signature not found.  Either this file is not
  a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive.  In the
  latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
  the last disk(s) of this archive.
note:  rockbox-ipodvideo-3.2.zip may be a plain executable, not an archive
unzip:  cannot find zipfile directory in one of rockbox-ipodvideo-3.2.zip or
        rockbox-ipodvideo-3.2.zip.zip, and cannot find rockbox-ipodvideo-3.2.zip.ZIP, period.

Care to be more specific? Just telling about it not working doesn't help finding the cause.

And if i try the manual method the terminal tells me the same thing:

This means the archive is corrupt. Redownload it.

Thanks but there is a problem, i can't put it in the iPod... even if i have the rights ( but not root ! i can't change it... ) it tells:

sounds like filesystem issues. Try running fsck.vfat (or chkdsk /f on windows) and check if it finds any issues.

Please do your homework yourself. Googleing revals for example this page among the first hits:

http://linux.die.net/man/8/fsck.vfat

It's a standard tool that should be part of your linux installation. Even faster would be to type man fsck.vfat in the terminal window ...
