Is there auto pause?

I'd like the ability to play any single track from a playlist and then stop.

I'm using Rockbox on a Sansa e280. Is this possible?

You would need to set up a build environment, patch the source code and compile it.

Hi, for a personal project I'm working on I need my mp3 player to play a track when the play button is pressed, then stop at the end of the track instead of continuing on to the following track, when the play button is pressed again I need it to play the next track. Sounds simple enough but I've been scrawling the net for days looking for an option, anybody know how to do this, would appriciate being pointed in the right direction. I don't currently own an mp3 player supported by rockbox but I would immediately buy one if someone told me the above is possible.

Rockbox is open-source. You could certainly modify the source code to do this, but it's not a feature currently.

Thanks alot. As I'm new to Rockbox and don't yet have a player that seems to be supported by it I was wondering if I get an iRiver H10 6GB and apply a patched version of rockbox for the iRiver H10 5GB? Will it work or will it only work on a 5GB player?

The iriver H10 5 and 6 GB models share the same firmware, the only difference is the drive's size.

I would also like a "pause between tracks" feature. The patch listed above is about a year old, what's the chances it will work on the current revision of the Rockbox source?

It touches a lot of important files, so probably pretty slim without some effort.
