Hi!

Since i've updated to the new 3.2 Firmware my iriver freezes when changing into another album/song while playing....

Any ideas to fix this?

Thank you!

'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''EDIT:
Just found an easy way to fix this problem :) - I just used the Rockboxinstaller to completely remove all of Rockbox from my player - even the bootloader - than I restarted in the original FW, plugged in USB and did a complete ReInstall.
Now it seems to work again - with fading....

thx.

Do you mean that directory skip sometimes causes a freeze, like http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/10109 ?

Hi there,

thanks for the reply! No, it's different, acutually when I set it in the settings to "warn before changing the playlist" - so when the irver plays a generated playlist  - for example "all Artists" - then I want to play "Killer Queen - by Queen" and I am going to the "Artists" location in the "database" and select it, iriver asks me, if it's ok to reset the actual playlist. When I press "play" for "ok" it loads for a second, then it hangs again (I have different filetypes on the player flac, mp3, wma, ogg) - but it seems to me, that's not the reason...
It's not hanging, when I play a huge playlist - for example "all artists" - it runs, perfectly - only when I change it manually.

Thank you!

I'm having the same problem on my Sansa C250.  At this point, it does not appear I can even get the original firmware to boot up.  Making me think it's a corrupt file.

I'm going to try recovering my voice recordings tonight then un-install rockbox.  If I still have problems, then I'll try re-format and re-install original firmware.
