how to update a theme on the new site?
(1/1)
audio-i:
I got a message telling me a theme I uploaded (AW140 ipod color) has an error, which I corrected, but it's not clear how to upload the corrected files. It's not possible to upload everything using the same theme name to "overwrite" the originals (understandably); I asked three persons (dev, expert, global moderator) to delete the initially uploaded theme, but the only thing that seems to be clear is that an expert would not have the necessary rights to do it.
For now all I could do was uploading the corrected files to the old wiki theme site, but I'm aware that's not the idea at all, so any help here is appreciated

1. Yes, how do I upload a new version of an existing theme? I'm ready to make some corrections to MetalGear.
2. Any comment/suggestiongs for MetalGear, now is the time
AlexP:
For now, you need to ask one of the theme site admins (such as me :)) to remove the existing one, and then upload the new one. It is planned in the future to allow the original uploader to modify a theme in some way.
Theme site administering can be done by any committer that wants to (in principle), but not all mods/experts are committers which is where the confusion has come in.

Thanks for the info ;)
