Actually, that's the main reason it hit the Rockbox site--to see if this theme was available yet!  It's okay.  I can wait for a good thing!

The theme for ipod video is been uploaded to the theme site (under Spartan Black, of course ;))

@ Spoonman, the nano screen might be too tight... everything in the "console" is already unifont size

I'm thinking of doing a gigabeat version (image below), displaying 240x240 AA images is great! I'm not so sure about the first line info (after all, album art should make clear the album), so suggestions are welcome
