Sansa c240 USB connection
Steff:
It's the booter!!
I'm sure... After i removed it, it worked every time.
I even install the firmware without the booter and it still worked.
Any solutions to that?
Llorean:
It's a bootloader, and you can't use Rockbox without it, so if you've installed the firmware it's there. Unless you just mean "I have a copy of the firmware files on my player, completely unaccessed."
Steff:
Yeah....No,
The Bootloader is the thing that stops it from working right.
I tried it without it, making the firmware useless... But it worked.
I could connect to the computer every time, as long as the bootloader wasn't on.
Firmware or not, it worked.
So i want to know if there's any way to fix this, to changes the booter so it won't stop the USB connection from working.

Please say that again, but replace every instance of "it" with the thing you are talking about.

I don't think you said what version of rockbox you are using but up to and including 3.2 do not have rockbox usb. The normal bootloader will not boot from off to rockbox usb, also some firmware versions for sansa don't have a setting for msc usb meaning rockbox won't work see the FAQ.
and one more problem on some flavous of linux rockbox usb is not seen.
I suggest you report:
One the Rockbox version, and bootloader version
Two the firmware version
and
Three the computer operating system you are using
