How to add all songs to a permanent playlist

(1/1)

cleanden:
Running on a Sansa E280 (not R)

Let me back up just a second and explain what I'm trying to do:
1. Add all tracks to 'my' playlist
2. Import new tracks and add them to a my daughter's playlist (if you've ever listened to kids music for an extended period you'll understand why I never want her music mingled in with mine  ;) )

I've tried creating a Dynamic playlist then saving it with the same name as my existing playlist but it remains empty every time.
I also tried renaming it as something else but it never shows up - e.g. if I save my dynamic playlist as "/AAA.m3u8" it doesn't appear in my list of playlists

I can add a single song at a time, but I can't seem to find an easy way to add 'all' tracks.

Please confirm, to save a playlist's name I hit the Play/Pause button right?

Thanks for any pointers.

Alex

Llorean:
Where are you looking for the playlist? The playlist catalog only picks up playlists in a certain folder, while /AAA.m3u8 saves in the root since you haven't included a folder name.

robin0800:
Yes the dynamic playlist  when renamed has to be moved to the playlist folder.
Why this folder is not the default place to save playlists is beyond me!

cleanden:
I moved AAA from the root and it works perfectly
Thanks!
