New Theme: 240x320 - Contrast

Just a preview of theme I'm working on; the goal is to have a clean and clear appearance by using a large font and only the most essential information. The blank area in the centre is meant for album art(150px), I am thinking of borrowing some of the arbox widgets to put alongside it (and show more widgets without album art). Please give me some feedback or pointers

looks pretty straight edge feels like a good replacement for the "4car" wps. i don't know about the widgets though. will you redesign them? Because i don't think the glass look of them wouldn't go too well with this theme.

Good point, I will see how they turn out, maybe it would be better to have the widgets follow the style of the theme and give them a 1px border and use black and white. On that note, maybe the play status icons are a bit too glassy? (they are from KDE oxygen/amarok2)

If you can find a more high-contrast (grayscale maybe?) iconset I think the theme would look more coherent.  Currently, the icons in the menu look a bit colorful compared with the simple, high-contrast look in all other parts of the theme.

Personally, I think the color set looks better, but it might be a good idea to go with a higher contrast iconset such as http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/Monochrome?content=18317

Yeah, I guess greyscale does look a little bland now that I see it side-by-side.  Maybe high contrast but with a contrasting color palette would look good.
