Ipod video (only some mp3's play)

Hi
I have just formatted my 30 gb ipod video 5th gen to fat 32 and did a complete rockbox install (although there was an error with the themes). Anyway..I then dragged and dropped some mp3 albums onto my ipod using explorer but only one of the albums will play on the ipod, when i try to play any others it just says "root" and plays nothing.

Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how can I fix it?

How were the MP3s encoded, and what, exactly, are you doing to try to play them?

sorry about that.
they were just ripped from cd's just like the ones that ARE playing. im not sure what you mean by "how were they encoded?" I thought ipods play mp3 files period.

What program did you use to encode them, and what data's included in the ID3 tags? Any large album art?

And you didn't answer the second part - how you're playing them.

I just read the answer you gave in another thread and that solved my problem. I was pressing play to play files instead of select.
