Icon for music Genre

I want to change a WPS i have created and i am searching for an icon that represents "genre". i haven't found such an icon anywhere to serve me as an inspirational source, all i have found are icons for specific genre (like a clef for classical, or a guitar for accoustic etc.). the icon should be really small between 9x9 and 15x15 pixels and monochrome. could anyone help me with some ideas?

Windows Media Player uses an icon like 3 Cds lying on top of one another to show genre, but I must admit it isn't one that I would immediately recognize as implying 'Genre'.
