Bookmarks and a media player on windows

(1/1)

PlayWithFire:
I use my rockboxed iRiver H340 mainly for listening to audiobooks, and bookmarking is an amazing feature for me.
I listen to my audiobooks in two places:
When i drive, i listen to it on my iRiver, and
When i work out, i listen to my books from my laptop, using bluetooth heaphones.

The problem is, i always have to find the place where i stopped, which is really annoying, so here's my question:

Is there any software out there that can open up the bookmark file from the iRiver directly, and allow me to continue listening to the book though my laptop?

I hope i explained it well.

Llorean:
Wouldn't the simplest solution be "listen to the player, instead of listening to it through your computer?"

There's not a program for doing what you want.

PlayWithFire:
I listen to the computer on my bluetooth headphones, and i really like the fact that i have no wires to deal with.

But thank you for your quick answer, i appreciate it.

I looked at the .bmark file, and it looks to be just straight text. I am sure that it wouldn't be terribly difficult to write a plugin for foobar2000 that would be able to read the file, and write to it.

Where can i find a reference on how the .bmark file is created and parsed? Foobar plugins seem to be written in C, so may even be able to just port the code.
