Ipod turns on to a white screen sometimes

i'm the guy who did this mod to the ipod; I shipped Bojamijams ipod back to him today. turns out there may have been 2 problems that were not related to rockbox and the rest can be associated with RB or the OF of the ipod. the screen issue was a simple fix as I thought; the LCD connector had lost proper connection somehow. when I received the ipod back to service it; I immediately opened it and checked connections, all seemed to be in order, but I swapped out the LCD just to be sure and BAM!! fully functional ipod. the battery issues I didnt experience at all until the last couple of hours it was here; I had it working all week, perhaps because I had reseated the battery cable. but just before shipping I found the ipod showed low battery and wouldnt charge properly; so I swapped out the battery for a new one and all was well. so that gets rid of a few suspected RB problems; leaving only the problem of having to restart the ipod to turn it on; which may or may not be down to RB,m may be just a bad synergy between the 2 FW. I then tested the LCD in another ipod and its all good too, mustve just been an unreliable connection. the battery I swapped out was sent to me as a new battery in a refurb, but i'm doubtful.
