Spoonman:
i have some problems to find out how to split the recording into a new file on ipod nano, according to REP thread

--- Quote from: Mmmm on January 31, 2006, 11:41:40 AM ---iv) Track split. The record button now acts as a real-time track split button (seamlessly starts to record into a separate file). To pause recording press the play/pause button. Also the track name is displayed on the main unit

and the manual
this should be long press on play button since that starts recording, but this always leads to a paused recording.

maybe this should be mapped to "select" for ipod targets?

Spoonman:
anyone?

Llorean:
It looks like the mappings on that screen aren't really in a particularly usable state. In my tests at least, a short press of Play/Pause paused the recording, a very slightly longer one split it, and a long press stopped the recording.

Spoonman:
ok, thanks for the info by the while, at least you tell me i am not completely nuts ;-) hope this will be fixed somehow, should i file a bugreport?

petur:
yes, unless there is already one, of course. Flyspray is the way to go...
