Question about the Fuze
« on: March 25, 2009, 10:19:32 PM »
I know the Fuze isn't a supported platform.

My question is:  Are there multiple hardware revisions of the Fuze, such that the work being done to make the Sandisk "V2" players Rockboxable will only apply to some Fuzes?  And if so, is there a way for me to deliberately buy a particular revision, perhaps by getting a certain memory size?

(I've tried searching for this, but between all the modern Sandisk players being dubbed V2 and a hardware revision of the Fuze being called a V2, I'm not able to find the answer that I'm sure exists.)

This question is not about installing Rockbox on a supported Sandisk player, which is what this section in the forums is about. I suggest reading through the wiki page, and the one thread about AMS Sansas entirely. But at this time, questions in that thread should be relevant to Rockbox development.
