jpg viewer and mpg viewer problems- HELP please

I just downloaded RockBox yesterday onto my ipod 5G Video 80GB and I am having issues with jpg viewer and mpeg4 viewer. First with jpg viewer it will not allow me to use the zoom function. Just no response at all when pressing play and menu simultaneously.

Mpg4 player will not play videos. I've tried in mp4 format but it comes up as an audio file but nothing actually plays.

I reinstalled manually all viewers and now it will not even open jpg at all (or videos). When attempting to open a file it says "file incompatible"

Reason I installed rockbox was to be able to read and zoom in on jpg

I would appreciate any help

It's not an mpeg4 player. It's an mpeg player. It playes mpeg 1 and 2 files. Please see the manual for more details about these plugins and how to use them, and under what conditions they may or may not function well.
