rockbox equalizer on sansa e280r

is there a patch or a way to get the equalizer setting to process 5 hertz on the low frequency scale? the reason I'm asking is i have mp3's of subzone and the low frequency is 5 hertz. or is there a way to request this? please let me know.

Do your headphones/loudspeakers actually reproduce 5 Hz? Does the E280's output stage pass it through? Sounds doubtful to me. Also, most lossy formats would have removed this frequency during encoding.
Anyway, there are technical reasons (numerical precision) for not allowing a 5 Hz cutoff frequency right now, so no, not possible at the moment.

ok i did not know some of that. and the reason i asked is the sound comes out all weird but, that could be due to the reasons you said. so thanks for the heads up and the reply. also the original firmware plays it ok,but not great. so thanks for the heads up.
