A belated thanks to the developers.  Rockbox is totally f*cking awesome!  (Is it OK to say "f*ck" on this board?)

This app breathes new life to my four plus year old 4G iPod Grayscale, w/ click wheel.

I've been seething green over all the way cool ipod 5G video and touch ipods on the subway and their douchebag owners flaunting them in front of me.  Teasing me.  Just friggin' baiting me to bat them in the back of the head with my briefcase.  GOD, how I hate them!

Screw you, jerks!  

Now, my classic 4G is playing FLACs and making with the changeable skins and even playing teeny tiny grainy black and white videos.

Got me a new battery, bent the crap out of the case trying to install it, and I'm ready to hold on to this reliable old box for another year or two.
