Problem with FrejBjon's uniskin WPS theme

It says "Updated on 2006-09-24: graphics should look correct now (non-inverted)" but there are still inverted. here's a screenshot of the files.



I downloaded both zip files and they are the same.
Also when i'm on the wps screen none of the smaller graphics display right, or at all.

Rockbox WPS parsing code has changed quite a bit since 2006, there is no reason to believe that WPS should work out-of-the-box.
That WPS is in the graveyard because it was not released with a permissive license, which means modifications of it can not be distributed.
To fix it (for personal use) one would very much need to take it apart, see what it is attempting to do, and then basically rebuild it from scratch, unfortunately.

thanks for you help soap, i understand now.   
I guess i'll just hope someone would be willing fix it sometime. 
I wish it weren't the only wps that can show unicode.

You can overwrite the font setting for any theme, either by manually editing the WPS file, or by loading the theme and then selecting a different font.
Size might be an issue, as the unicode font (last I looked) is not available in all sizes.

Check out rasher's awesome fontstats to make your selection easier.

Would the "16-GNU-Unifont.bdf" font display japanese and korean etc. fonts at the same time in the wps?

Even better, you can get it already in Rockbox format in the font pack.  You can find it via the "extras" link.

Try the 14-Rockbox-Mix font - I think that may have Japanese and Korean support.
