Does rockbox run on all 30GB Ipods?

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a used ipod 30GB. As far as I know only Ipod Gen 5 and 5.5 have 30GB. Does this mean all 30GB models run with rockbox and I can buy a 30GB model without risk?

In addition, there seems to be a model called "MA002FB/A". Is this a rockbox compatible model?

if it is a iPod VIDEO 5/5.5Generation, Rockbox will work on it even if it is not the 30GB, for it can be the 60/80GB version too.

Just be sure that it isnt the iPod Classic as Rockbox will not work with it. You can verify that it is an iPod video by making sure that it has a "glass"/shiny like surface compared to the iPod Classic's matte metal surface. You could also check by plugging it into a computer opening iTunes and seeing that it mounts it as an iPod Video(if you have access to it atleast)

You can also vefify the type by checking out here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353 . It lists every iPod model that apple has, if you are some what smart, you will figure it out!

EDIT: Also about it being a 30GB it could be an iPod Video, iPod Photo/with color display or an orignal iPod. But rockbox does run on all of those models!
