WPS with album covers problem

I'm not sure if this is the good place to post this but, I'm having a bug with WPS that show album cover on my IAudio X5. In the middle of the songs, the sound cuts off for 1-2 seconds like if it was loading something, I guess the album cover because I only get this behaviour when I use WPS showing album covers. Except that, the WPS works fine.

Anyone lnow what cause this behaviour?

How large are your album covers?
I rather suspect they are huge and you're taxing your poor DAP's CPU to death trying to downscale them.

I would recommend making sure your album art images are no larger than 128x128 (assuming they're square) since the screen can't display art images larger than the screen dimensions. All of my art images are 128x128 and I experience no lag when the buffer refills.
