Voluntary Hardware Donation Receivers?

Any hardware should be welcomed, even if it's broken. Broken players can be fixed by people who have the knowledge to do so, and then those in turn can probably continue down the line to someone else who needs or is looking for that player.

I had some ports I wanted to try my hands at, but the hardware needed is either broken or no longer in my possession, and I'm not a Rockerfeller or anything like that where I can just buy more. So donated hardware would be a blessing for the piss poor among us.

(EDIT) Want to note for the record that I have received two pieces of donated hardware so far:

1) 3rd gen nano
2) Sansa c250
