AAC Decoding takes too much CPU.

ACC Decoding takes too much CPU.
it slows it down to were i can barely use it.

You mean AAC or AC3?

What files?  How did you encode them?  What device?

That's AAC not ACC. What bitrate, and what revision of Rockbox?

sorry about that.  i'll need to check the bitrate it is somewere in the 250's. the revision of Rockbox r20292.

That file plays fine for me, and fairly efficiently:

192% realtime, 41.6MHz

Are you using a lot of EQ and other DSP effects?  Have you tried reinstalling rockbox to make sure you don't have a badly installed build?
