k my friend told me to put songs into rockbox, all u need to do is put the songs into different artist, then album folders, in the MUSIC folder. So i did that....then i unplugged it. Whenever i open the database in my mp3, the new songs arent there, and the songs aren't organized.....anyhelp? i hav a sansa e260

You can put your music anywhere you like, it doesn't have to be in the MUSIC folder at all if you don't want it to.

As for the database, you need to reinitialize or update it before it will show any new entries, and it will be organized according to the tags. The file broswer, however, will be organized however you have it set to be (default is alphabetical.)

Hold down the select button over the Database menu entry in the main menu to bring up the context menu, then select  "Initialize Now".
