Sansa C250 help with database...

I have four of these players.  All v1.  All latest firmware.  One of them installed and works fine.  Really like Rockbox.  The other three installed fine, using the same PC as the first.  But all three fail to initialize the database.  I've reinstalled Rockbox, downloading instead of using cached files just in case.  Taken songs off and put others on.  Removed the batteries.  Held down the menu button to reboot all to no avail.  Am I missing something?  Any help would be appreciated...

What happens if you put the songs that are on the working player onto one of the players that doesn't work?

Thanks for the idea.  But I put the same songs on all four already.  I used a cd I ripped at 320k in WMP myself.  I'm using WMP to load the C250.  Any other ideas?  I'm stumped...
