iPod 1st gen scroll whell does not respond in rockbox only

As before, no support, updates, guarantees or whatever.

I had downloaded the VMWare Debian ISO and was busy trying to work out how to do the patch but I am not too up on my linux...

Howdy! I've just spent several hours getting Rockbox installed on my spiffy iPod 1st Gen, only to be slapped with another hurdle of having the scroll wheel and battery icon not working. I'm tapped out and really don't have any more energy to start compiling and installing a patch. I'm so close and would love it if someone has access to the above patched version that fixes the scroll wheel (not sure if it addresses the battery icon but at this point I'll take what I can get just to start using this gem!).
