Can't acess my ipod in windows with rockbox..

(1/1)

gnomewithonesock:
I have been using rockbox on an 80 gig 5th gen. ipod.
all has been going well, until today. when i plug in the usb cord, the ipod reboots and then i get the 'do not disconnect''  messege.then it goes and reboots again and i get the ''its ok to disconnect'' messege.i then went into my ''c'' drive and cant click on the drive for my ipod, without getting an error about the drive moving (cant remember the whole messege).

if i play around with the ipod and unplug/plug it in, eventually it starts to read the ipod and works but this cant be normal.has anyone ever heard of this issue?

Sounds like a hardware issue (USB cable, dock connector, USB port on PC) or something wrong with Windows.

Why would the drive for your iPod be in your C: drive?
