Very new, Have some questions

Im very new to rockbox, and I have some questions. My first is about addons for doom. When I try to run the halflife addon, its says that 'The addon does not run on the same graphic system!' And I've seen this addon ran on rock box, and yes, it is a wad for doom. My second question is does the movie player that you run out of files, do they have to be mpegs?

Mpegplayer is for MPEG1/2 only.  Check the wiki, theres detailed information about what it plays and how to encode it there.
