Ipod 5g Video and a Belkin Radio Transmitter incompatible?

I have a 5th Generation Ipod Video and It all works great.  I love Rockbox on it.

Except that my Belkin Car Radio Transmitter (F8Z049-BLK) will only transmit to 89.5- which works for the city I was in, but not anymore. 

The Ipod sees that it is charging, but when I press a button on the Belkin to adjust the station, the Ipod remains dormant without even a flicker of the backlight.  I assume there is just a plug-in I need to enable or something?  Usually the Belkin would take control of the Ipod screen while I am adjusting the station, but hmmm... not with Rockbox

Any help would be appreciated.  I hate static and the background Jesus channel that cuts in at all the wrong times.

If it doesn't work in SVN, then its probably because no one has figured out how to talk to your device yet.
