Skip track With Rockbox on Cowon X5
« on: February 20, 2009, 08:41:27 AM »
Hi all, since I Installed Rockbox on my X5 I'm very happy with it.
But there's one thing I don't get; how to skip track, to go to the next track.  >:(
The only thing that happens is that it gets further in the track witch its playing.
With the Cowon software was that just the right button on the joystick.

Could you help me with this problem?  :)

First, we have a nice manual describing how to do such things. Please check it first as our posting guidelines require you to do. Second, you might have messed up the Track Skip option which controls what happens on skipping.

I also have this problem as well.
i have reviewed the manual for my sandisk and it make no mentions of skipping. only ff or rew. I have my party mode off and well when i press ff once, it ff the song, not skip. what do i press to skip to the next song or go back? why was this default type of thing on all players changed?
the only reason why i RB it is so that i can put more memory. if the rb doesn't enable skipping then rb is kinda useless to me

The default wasn't changed.  It's still set to skip the track, as far as I know.
