Pitch Control - Scrollwheel

Hi,

I'm using an Ipod 5th gen with a daily build from the 19/02/09

I run salsa classes using it and often want to slightly slow down music without the change being ( too ) noticeable.

I am having a problem with the scrolwheel wanting to accelerate and creating large jumps in pitch.

This may well be because i have chubby fingers  :)

is there any options to disable the long press option within the pitch control so that it restricts to 0.1% chages with each step?

if not a standard option, could you please tell me if its possible for me to modify the source to restrict this.

You need to dig into the source - have a look at the keymap file in /apps/keymaps/

Tracing from this file through, i believe that changing the

apps/screens.c

so that

#define PITCH_BIG_DELTA   1

(rather than 10)

should sort me out - thanks again
