Editing tags in winamp for rockbox

Ok, I downloaded rockbox and put it on my new sandisk e250 refurb. It works great, but for some reason some of the songs are untagged and theres a good bit of them. So I did some googling and I think you can do it in winamp. So I plugged it in and opening the drive in winamp. Then I found a song that was untagged and went to view file info. So I placed the name and artist and clicked ok. Then I unplugged and checked and it was still untagged. So I really don't know how to edit it properly because on the view file info box there is a basic info tab, a artwork, ID3v1, ID3v2. Thanks for the help.

Are you looking at the file through the database? If so, then you'll need to refresh the database.

A quicker check would be to play the file from the Files browser and check that the WPS is showing the correct tag information.

Also, make sure that you're editing the file that is on the player and not the copy on your PC.
