Sansa 280r in my car

The other day  got in my car and started my car up. My sansa was plugged in using a cassette adapter. When I leave my car I turn off my sansa but leave it plugged in using the cassette adapter. When i got in and started my car the sansa came on when i started the car. it only happened once. how did this hapeeen. and can i make it do that every time i get in the car

The only connection between the car and the Sansa is via the headphone jack (as in a cassette tape adapter plugged into the headphone jack)?

Then what you are describing makes no sense.  There is no external signal path in through the headphone jack. 
Can you reproduce this behavior?

no it only happened one time
