So, you were following this part of the installation instructions: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaE200RInstallationFromWindows

But you didn't download both files to your player and now it won't boot into the original firmware or connect properly?

You probably need to follow  these instructions to get back to square one.

Did you tell Windows to "Show hidden files"?

yes, i got pass that part and put the OF.mi4 file in the SYSTEM file and the pp5022.mi4 file in the root folder and the build and font files in the root and when I booted the sansa up it says rockbox.mi4 not found. I know that's in the build file, but for some reason it's not loading it, but i can get out of it and boot the rhapsody firmware easily. Any tips? ???

Is it possible that the build got extracted improperly on your player?  Once you have the bootloader installed (as you do now), you can install the build using Rockbox Utility if you like.  This should guarantee that the build gets correctly extracted to your player.  Some archiving tools put things in an additional directory named something like "rockbox" and this prevents the bootloader from finding the Rockbox binary.  It should be located at /.rockbox/rockbox.mi4.  Notice the full-stop in the name of the folder.
