?how do you know if the firmware is unlocked correctly??
« on: February 09, 2009, 09:24:46 PM »
all mine says is something about "vanilla [something] detected...and at the end, it says "release hold and press any key to shutdown." Can I continue? (It does not say "go to step 2", but it doesn't say that it is aborted either)

and when creating the "sansa" folder, do i keep the .zip file in the folder?

You should provide more detail about your situation whenever you post.  It keeps us from having to guess at what's going on.  I take it that you are following the installation instructions for an e2x0r, since this sounds like a message from e200rpatcher.  It has identified your player as a (non-Rhapsody) e2x0.  So, follow the e200 installation instructions instead.

Edit: reworded to clarify that the player is not an e200r.

all right, thanks

it seems that i don't have a Rhapsody player after all because of the USB options.
