Dual Boot on Gigabeat S

I'm sorry if this is the wrong board, but it seemed to have quite a few threads about the S.

I bought a MES60vk off of Ebay mainly to rockbox since the port seems to be almost complete. I fiddled around with the original firmware but was having problems with WMP not recognizing the player. So, I decided I'll go ahead and install Rockbox, but wanted to leave the original firmware, but there isn't any info about dual booting on the wiki. How do you do it?

Technically I think the player is unsupported and thus off topic, but there appears to be detailed instructions in the wiki:

Thanks. I also couldn't find the patched gigabeat v updater. It just lists the unpatched one. Would the Official Gigabeat S Updater version 1.2 work? Btw, I was looking at the link you sent me and you are right; there are good instructions. Why are they in the player info section and not under the dual boot section on the installation section?

I don't think you need that program.  Anyway, if you don't understand those directions, maybe you should just wait until the S is supported.

Edit:  Since all the other gigabeat S threads were locked, I'm going to lock this one too.

You don't need that.  You can use sendfirm_win instead (linked on that page).
