Sound lagging in video
« on: February 02, 2009, 04:28:41 PM »
I put a video on my sansa e280r . I converted it with a program called super. The video plays fine but i hear the audio about five seconds later than when it is supposed to be heard. What is the problem?

Does it work on your PC?

See www.rockbox.org/wiki/PluginMpegplayer for more details.

What are your Mpegplayer settings?  Pay attention to the Limit FPS and Skip Frames settings in the page that BigBambi linked for you.

The page that BigBambi linked contains information on transcoding videos and a list of suggested tools.  WinFF has presets for Rockbox, maybe try that instead.  As a note, I don't have problems with videos that I encode using VLC or WinFF.

If the sample video "Elephants Dream" plays properly, then it seems there's something wrong with the way your video was transcoded.
