Then you have a different issue. Please post some more details ... which OS, which Sansa, which OF version etc.

AlexP:
And please do it in a separate thread.

I have been reading the forum responses here, I of course have the same issue. Sansa e280/win xp home. Is there a link to rbutil 1.0.7?

Llorean:
Current versions shouldn't have the problem any more. If you're having problems having your Sansa detect with a current version of RBUtil (1.2 as of this post) please describe in detail the problems you're having and the message you're receiving.

6strings4u:
When I select autodetect I get the "could not detect a device select the device and mountpoint manually"  When I select e200 in the device window and click ok I get the " no mountpoint given" When I browse for the e280 in the file system it is not there. When I open "My Computer" the e280 icon is there there is noletter designation to the drive however. It would be simple if I could find the drive in the file system menu. Finally when I close the configuation window I see SanDisk Sansa e200 at <invalid> I am not especially anxious to proceed as I have allready Dammaged one player irrecoverably. I am lucky it was under warranty
