Trying to make C240 WPS

Hi guys, I'm trying to create a basic WPS for the C200 series. Testing on a C240.

I was just pondering a simple thing: is there a way to take a peek at the default WPS? I can't find it anywhere.

Open the .wps file at .rockbox/wps
The .cfg file at .rockbox/themes might be of interest as well

Yes. If you mean the info text colour, use a viewport with the appropiate colour settings. See http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/CustomWPS. If you mean a part of an image, change the appropriate .bmp (found in .rockbox/wps/Theme_You_Want_To_Modify)

Rockbox_default.wps contains only this:

# Do not edit this file.  It's never actually loaded by Rockbox.

I made it using the default theme, but changed the colors. It should give you the basics.

From this description I assume that the built-in, text only, old default WPS is meant - the one that's still called "rockbox_default" when you browse themes - not cabbiev2 which is now selected as default theme, the first thing you will see after installation. This rockbox_default's wps code is compiled in and so you can find it in Rockbox's code base but also on the top of the WpsArchos wiki page (since it is a text only one, all displays can use the same).

Right, I think I've got what I needed now and I have made the WPS I wanted.

I works fine for me, so I guess I should upload it. However, it uses a font not available in the fontpack. It's just a smaller version of the Terminus font, which is in the font pack, but only in size 12 (right?) - How would I go about including that in there?

Also I made a theme to go with it - What are the steps to uploading a package like this?

So, everything is packaged up real nice, but is the wiki-attach thing broken, because I can't for the life of me work it. I've tried two different browsers and both just bring up a blank white page that's completely done loading.

Could you edit to add a line separator between your theme and the one above it?  Otherwise, thanks for bolstering the ranks of our c200 themes!

Bugger, I thought I had it sorted. It's added now. I suppose I'll be making more.. It is a shame that there's only a handful themes even with the player being discontinued.
