Battery question before installing (X5)...
« on: January 06, 2009, 04:01:49 PM »
Hi to everyone!
I'm new here and I've got a question before installing Rockbox on my X5L 30Gb.
On the iAudio Port page I've seen that the status for X5 battery compatibility is 10%. What does it mean? That if I install the Rockbox firmware I've got a worse battery life? Can this decrease my battery life?
Thanks to everyone that can give me an answer.
Regards!

With the X5L you will get better battery life with Rockbox than with the Cowon firmware for the same conditions.  I'm not sure why that chart is 10%, but don't worry :)
