Playing music with CUE sheet problem
« on: January 25, 2009, 04:29:03 PM »
I have all my music stored in one-track-per-album lossless format with a cue sheet. In Rockbox CUEsheet track-names is supported and it works great with English, French, etc, but in languages such as Russian track names are displayed as gibberish. I tried to save CUEsheet file in ANSI, Unicode, Unicode with big endian, UTF-8 encoding and it does not display correctly in any of those.
Is there anything I can do to make it display correctly?

Have you checked your codepage setting in Rockbox?

The manual should have the details.

OK, I have found it and changed it to "Cyrillic (CP 1251)" and now my Russian CUE file (encoded in ASCII) is displayed correctly! Well, it screws up some of the characters from other languages, but as French say C'est la vie  ::)

Thanks for help and thread can be closed  :)
