I just acquired a rebuilt c200. I verified that it is v1.xx so I proceded download the autoinstaller on my Ubuntu Linux v8.04. I fired up the autoinstaller and got it to find the c200 without much trouble. I proceded to install Rockbox v3.1. It appeared to work although it said it was unable to install the themes because they were not ready. I tried to restart the c200 and the Rockbox boot screen appeared but it never got past that. Several reboot attempts resulted in the same behavior. I am able to boot into the Sansa software without any trouble.
I decided to try a manual install. I connected the c200 and used a shell to CD into the c200 folder and right away I see some strange stuff on the .rockbox dir. Take a look:
d?

?? ? ? ? ? ? .rockbox
So in other words, no permissions or ownership. I cannot delete or move the folder. When I attempt to unzip, it also will not work.
Any suggestions?
