Sandisk is not regognised on PC, and won't turn off

All was going fine until I installed a new theme. I then plugged my sandisk e250 into my pc, while it was on, and the screen went black; the player is still on as the blue circle is on.
My PC, as mentioned, won't recognise it. I am a new Sandisk User (as of today) and rockbox user (as of today too) so I am completly dumfounded by this.
