Error while loading rockbox

What is giving that error message?  At what point does this happen?

When i try to install the bootloader, it says "cant open ipod"

And now, its saying its a macpod even though its formatted to winpod.

You can check to make sure no other programs are trying to interact with the iPod.  Some culprits can include iTunes, iTunesHelper, iPodService, etc.

I'm not sure why it would recognize it as a MacPod if you successfully restored it on a Windows machine.
