What rockbox ready player you reccomed me in future?

I have odd sansa c250, and already thinkin to change hardweare.
So there are 2 questions i wonna ask:
1) what player is mosy actual for preasant day with flash memory
2) how can I solve problem with my sansa c250- my pc cant see it as flash drive, it only charges. USB mode is MSC, rockbox r19569-081223 v.3.1

Rockbox does not have its own usb mode yet. You need to reboot into the Sandisk firmware to connect to the PC. This is a general and widely known issue and also covered in the FAQ.

thanx for replyin,  this issue happens in nativ firmware, maybe because of rockbox bootloader. Hope rereadin of faq will solve situation/

update:
problem with transferin files was in pressin "left" button while loading

Maybe you could clarify your first question as I don't quite understand what you mean to ask.  In any event, the only flash based players (excluding user modifications such as CF mods) are currently the iPod Nano (first generation only) and the SanDisk Sansa e200 series(both Rhapsody and non-) and the c200 series.

r.e. the e200 and c200 - currently only the v1 are supported.

Also, you forgot the Ondio!  Although that is MP3 only + wav with a plugin, 128 MB + MMC, etc., it is flash too!

Don't get a Sansa C-series. I still have a dent in my wall where the c2xx hit. I still have not found all the parts of it - and I don't care.

Get any Sansa E-series v1. They rock.

Care to elaborate on why?  I agree that the e200 is generally better (better screen, better layed out controls (IMO)), but the c200 has it place.
