Sansa E200 - Playback Problems..
saratoga:
Next time just send me one file, not a whole album. Which of these am I supposed to look at, and at what time point can I expect it to fail?
Spacedog2k5:
Sorry.. It's not the whole album. I zipped the five songs that were causing Rockbox to crash. It usually occurs within the first 20 secs on all of them.

I listened to a few minutes worth and didn't have any problems. Can you give me a specific, reproducible point where one of them fails?
Also, the reason I asked you if you had "a file that fails in precisely the same way and at the same place, every time" was because I hate listening to other people music looking for glitches that I can't find . . .
Spacedog2k5:
I understand entirely - and nor would I want to have to suffer through someone else's music, either. :(
Okay, here's what I was able to come up with..
I played the Britney Spears track (it could be worse - it could be far worse. ::) ), and each time (I tried it 4 times, one right after the other, following a reboot), it would give me the "Data Abort.." error at exactly 12 seconds into the song.
Does that info help any?

I couldn't reproduce it with the current build. You could try updating to see if that helps, but nothing has changed in the Mp3 decoder recently, and the fact that one of your files is a WMA suggests that its not a codec bug.
I'd guess hardware problems with your sansa. Try checking the disk for errors.
