gigabeat f10 can't find any of my images... plz halp!

so i got this awesome rockbox program which works with my mac and i installed it on my gigabeat and it is freaking awesome.  i am having a slight problem, however, in that the .bmp files i have in my pictures folder on the gigabeat don't appear in the menu on the device. 

when i open the device on my mac, i can see the image files, but they don't show up at all on the player now with rockbox. has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how did you fix it? any help would be much appreciated... i want to spiff my player out now that i can actually use it.

Do you mean you can't see them in the file browser when you browse to where they should be?  What is "show files" set to? 

Another tip: For browsing images in Rockbox it's more convenient to convert the images to jpeg due to the lack of an associated viewer for bmp's.  You can use the editor rockpaint to open them but you have to go through the context menu and it doesn't allow you to zoom or advance to the next picture in the directory.
